We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Research Coordinator. To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health care administration or related discipline and a minimum of four years progressively responsible related experience coordinating clinical/research trial studies plus proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook and familiarity with Internet applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, coordinating and managing research studies conducted at the Medical Center; overseeing the financial and protocol development for the assigned studies; assisting with managing the recruitment process, enrollment, grant submissions, and study coordination including developing advertising strategy, contracting media outlets and negotiating rates and monitoring deadlines for submissions of materials; performing intra-operative monitoring; serving as liaison with internal and external funding agencies; ensuring the accurate execution of research protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practices, HIPAA, and required obligations to patient/subject, Principal Investigator, research team and the sponsor; interfacing directly with patients/subjects and the Principal Investigator in support of the clinical trials; providing guidance to research support staff; plus all related job duties as assigned. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Certification and knowledge of basic medical terminology plus experience working in an Academic Medical Center is preferred.
