Position Summary: * Acquires sales skills and product knowledge and, at the appropriate time, is assigned sales activities under supervision of experienced sales professionals. * This entry level position is designed to familiarize the incumbent with the organization, product knowledge, and selling skills. * Training period is normally less than one year. * However, may also be the competent level where product and sales processes are very straightforward. * Provides face-to-face services to customers in a particular geographic area. * Living within a reasonable commuting distance of the territory is an important determinant of effectiveness and success in this role. Position Information: THIS POSITION REPORTS TO DISTRICT SALES MANAGER. POSITION TYPICALLY TRANSITIONS TO TERRITORY BASED, BONUS ELIGIBLE FIELD SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE POSITION OVER TIME. Some of the specific duties are to: * Provide solutions and build rapport with customers using a consultative sales approach * Meet and exceed revenue goal requirements * Grow and maintain customer base within an assigned geographic area with a focus on small to mid-sized urban customers * Make sound business decisions with customers through negotiated and established business agreements * Identify and implement integrated automation platforms and solutions to customer base * Manage customer interactions and information to ensure continuous and effective business relationships Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Business-to-business sales experience in any industry (inside and outside sales combined) preferred. The preferred candidate has additional business-to-business sales experience through which the following key success factors have been developed: sales skills, communication, influence & negotiation, problem solving, and planning & organizing skills.
