**Posting Title** University Recruiter

**Job Description** The University Recruiter is a member of the University Relations Team, a part of VMware’s staffing organization\. The University Relations Team is responsible for the development and cultivation of strategic academic relationships that will help VMware attract and recruit top emerging talent\. The University Relations Team is an integral part of the staffing organization, providing support across all business lines including but not limited to R&D, Product Marketing, GSS, IT, Sales, Marketing, Finance etc\.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle recruiting process for candidates ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience

• Work with recruiting team members \(Recruiters, University Managers, Coordinators, Business Engagement Managers, and Experience Program\) to create solid partnerships for the business lines

• Collaborate with client groups to understand hiring goals and needs

• Screen resumes and interview qualified candidates

• Facilitate discussions with interviewers and hiring managers regarding hiring processes

Requirements:

• BA / BS degree desired

• 3\+ years of related professional experience within corporate recruiting, university recruiting or technical recruiting

• Working knowledge and complete adoption of VMware’s Applicant Tracking System \(Kenexa/BrassRing\)

• Communicative person that is detail oriented and has outstanding interpersonal skills

• Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process

• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Willingness to participate in job fairs and campus events \(light travel\)

Problem solver with the ability to interact with various levels of management
