We have an exciting career opportunity for a *Food Service Manager* in Las Vegas, NV.
Reporting to our unit General Manager, our Food Service Manager is responsible for managing the day to day food service operations for the patient tray line and filling in for the Executive Chef in their absence.
*As the Food Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:*
Managing the daily patient dining program
Leading the frontline staff in on-time and accurate patient tray delivery
Some Menu planning and development
Food ordering and inventory and ensuring compliance
Food safety and monitoring HACCP for the kitchen
Meeting all regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications for the Food Service Manager include strong cooking ability and culinary knowledge. Additional qualifications include computer literacy, full HACCP knowledge and ServSafe certification. Prior food service management experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Assists in the management of multi-functional food service areas in a single unit. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. May supervise less than two full time employees.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
