Role Summary

Russell Private Client Services (PCS) is seeking a Marketing Automation / Marketing Operations Manager to add to its growing Channel Marketing and Demand Generation team. This individual will help lead our business-to-business email marketing strategy and online support for a variety of integrated marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with fellow relationship marketing managers on campaign strategy, creative, targeting, offer development, execution and analytics. If you love getting involved in all aspects of campaign strategy, have a passion for marketing technology, get a kick out of executing campaigns and like to work with smart people, then this is the position for you.

You will play an integral role in delivering highly targeted and relevant direct marketing campaigns to Russell customers and help fuel our growth by acquiring new customers and driving engagement with current clients. In addition to email, you will support integrated direct marketing channels, including direct mail, events, webcasts, SEM and social media. You will have direct responsibility for all aspects of campaign execution, including development, QA/QC, lead capture and reporting. Hands-on experience with email marketing strategy utilizing Marketing Automation Platforms (Eloqua/ Marketo/etc.) integrated with CRM platforms (Salesforce/ Dynamics) is required.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

* Serve as marketing’s “Go-to” expert, responsible for execution of all email campaigns, campaign landing pages and integrated lead management.
* Be the resident expert and business unit relationship lead with our email / marketing automation platform (Eloqua).
* Collaborate extensively with a team of Channel Marketing Managers on campaign strategy, creative, targeting, offer development, test design, QA/QC, execution and reporting.
* Streamline workflow and creative production processes in conjunction with our Corporate Marketing design teams and eDistribution team, expanding use of templates, dynamic content blocks and other efficiency and personalization tools.
* Lead data integration efforts with our CRM platform, Microsoft Dynamics, including audience targeting and list generation, personalization, lead scoring and campaign reporting.
* Support and advance our continuous campaign optimization efforts, including analyzing campaign results and tests, gleaning insights from the results and actively contributing new ideas for future tests and program enhancements.
* Collaborating on process automation, including trigger based campaigns, auto-responders, and nurture programs.
* Ability to work with and within our corporate compliance systems to secure necessary approvals, ensure CAN SPAM compliance, and promote best practices for permission management and unsubscribe management.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

Technical Skills / Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree required
* 5+ years professional experience, with a minimum of 2+ years experience with primary responsibility for execution using an ESP or SaaS marketing automation suite, supporting Email Marketing and Lead Generation programs (preferably B2B), either client-side or at a service provider.
* Hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform such as Eloqua, or Marketo, or an email platform like Responsys or ExactTarget.
* Experience with a CRM platform such as Salesforce.com or Microsoft Dynamics to manage client and prospect databases and report on campaign execution and effectiveness.
* Strong HTML knowledge and web development proficiency, including best practices for cross-client compatibility/consistency. Sound design sense and creative sensibility.
* Basic familiarity with web analytics systems (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends)
* Ability to apply segmentation, a/b testing, and personalization strategies.
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The Marketing Automation Manager reports to the Director, Channel Marketing and Demand Generation. The position is based in downtown Seattle, Washington.
