Position Responsibilities
We are seeking candidates to join the SunGard Global Sales Academy as Inside Sales Associates. Our global sales teams play a critical part in how SunGard communicates its technology solutions to the marketplace. They are imperative in generating new business, and ultimately, expanding our market share.
The Sales Academy is our platform for nurturing and producing the best sales talent in the world. You will be trained, coached and mentored by industry leaders and involved in activities including preparing bid submissions, identifying leads and generating business meetings for our global sales teams.
In addition to hands on sales experience, the Academy provides training across core financial, sales and SunGard solution modules. Graduates will be supported towards achieving the CFA IMC2 (investment management certificate) qualification, and upon successful completion of our structured 12- month training program, will transition into a field sales position. Key elements of the three training modules include the following:

Position Requirements
Ideal candidate profile:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or Psychology. Will consider other majors for candidates with strong passion for sales and an interest in financial markets.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred or equivalent in your academic program
• Must be available to start in June 2015
• Previous work experience in sales, customer service or consulting via internships, co-op assignments, or full-time job. Financial services sector is a plus.
• Confident, professional, self-starter with a passion and a drive to succeed in sales
• Proven leadership and teaming skills combined with the desire and flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and sell complex product solutions and features
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Logical and creative thinker with the ability to obtain buy-in to project ideas
• Hunger for high earnings (position pays base + commission)
• Fluent in English. Additional language skills in Spanish, Portuguese and/or French are a plus to support our clients in the Americas
