PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The PSA is a main SAP point of contact for an assigned number of SAP partners.The PSA works closely with the North American sales organization to provide a range ofenablement services to improve the performance of the partner in all operational areas,including marketing, sales support, implementation, customer support etc.The PSA will have a series of ongoing remote 1:1 meetings with the partner, focusing onbuilding a relationship and identifying which areas the partner would best benefit from you astheir advisor. Your primary focus is around operational, program and technical enablement andsupport for your designated partners.The PSA focuses on increasing partner satisfaction and productivity, while contributing to SAP sgrowth strategy. The role is predominantly a proactive one, where the PSA drives value to thepartner. The PSA must also build strong relationships inside the SAP organization, to ensurethat there is full alignment in communicating with the partners.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
The role is remote in that day to day contact with the partner is conducted via phone and web.

You will act as a trusted advisor to drive effective, systematic partner engagement that maximizes the value that SAP can bring to the partnership. The role requires you to develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the partner landscape, key regional business imperatives, SWOT analysis of each partner s capabilities and proactively assist the partner to build on this analysis
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Ideally 1 to 3 years of professional experience in any of the following areas:

Pre Sales

Professional services & support roles

*
Partner management
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

*
Business/IT Degree or equivalent

*
Knowledge of ,and technical experience with, SAP would be a distinct advantage

*
Good Business Acumen and the ability to work alone or in a team environment

*
Ability to leverage Innovation within a product

*
Experience with support systems, message handling and using remote communication tools (e.g. SAPConnect, NetMeeting,GotoMeeting etc.)

*
The role requires the PSA to have a strong level of technical credibility from the partner s perspective - a strong IT/Software industry background is an advantage

*
Clear understanding of partnership management in IT space customer focused & service oriented

*
Knowledge of sales/marketing & partner relationship process will be an added advantage

*
Understanding of end-to-end business processes.

*
Demonstrable strong interpersonal and team-working abilities, coaching skills an advantage.

Problem Analysis and problem resolution abilities
