*Providence is calling a Clinical Specialty Nurse - Urgent Care to our Facey Valencia location in Valencia, CA*
**
*In this position you will:*
* Provides professional patient care for all patients following established standards and practices
* Serve as a role model for Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and LVNs by providing leadership which fosters positive attitudes and change, as well as supports management policies and procedures.

*
*Required qualifications for this position include:*
* Graduate of a recognized Registered Nursing program
* 1 - 2 years patient assessment experience in the acute care setting, emergency medicine, or urgent care environment
* Current California RN license
* Current Americal Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
* Knowledge of UR/QA requirements, IV medication protocol, triage
* Knowledge and patient education/assessment skills
* Excellent communication and documentation skills essential
* Ability to multi-task and deliver patient care in a fastpaced environment
*Preferred qualifications for this position include:*
* Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) strongly recommended
