Essential Responsibilities:

1.

Review designs with Marketing, Design Engineering, Tooling and Engineering; and review for manufacturability.

2.

Provide product cost and tooling budget to Management as well as “deliverables” requirements.

3.

Develop and maintain project timeline schedules using Microsoft Project.

4.

Provide finished goods documentation needed to enter new SKUs into Agile and SAP systems.

5.

Conduct regular team meetings, establishing action items and due dates for activities of Acoustics Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Supplier, etc.

6.

Team Leader and spokesperson (in conjunction with Management) as final arbitrator in Team decisions and direction.

7.

Support process of vendor selection and issue purchase orders for product tooling.

8.

Coordinate “concept through final approval process” of the creation of photo samples, carton artwork, user manuals and other product literature.

9.

Coordinate transition of product development and engineering information to Supplier’s product development, engineering and quality departments.

10.

Coordinate timely submission of Safety Agency samples on electronic items.

11.

Support Supplier’s personnel in planning and completing their Design Verification (DV), Process Verification (PV) and Production runs.

12.

Approve or arrange for ID, Engineering and Marketing approvals on off tool parts relating to color, texture and appearance.

13.

Provide regular reports showing status of each program in development.

14.

Track progress of cost, budget and timing for each program, reporting any variances and suggesting ways to bring program back to plan.

15.

Ensure product concept is preserved, requested performance and application requirements of the product are met, and appearance and packaging standards are adhered to.

16.

Support Supplier as needed on existing products as related to quality or appearance issues.

17.

Negotiate with Suppliers and Vendors on piece price and tooling to achieve budget.

18.

Locate and procure/purchase competitive samples when required.

19.

Other projects which may be assigned.

OTHER DUTIES

European travel is required.

Completes other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master's Degree preferred; or Bachelor's Degree and proven experience of related progressive leadership and accountability in a technical environment.

Experience: Requires project management experience in the professional audio products sector.

Other: An experienced leader with appropriate industry experience. An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.

A well-organized and self-directed individual who is “politically savvy” and a team player. An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
