Position Title:            Seasonal Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the day\-to\-day administrative needs of the recruiting team\.  This includes coordinating the requisition and new hire processes to ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete; Assisting with the placement of the internal and external postings; Maintaining the internal posting boards and job listings; Assisting in the placement of recruitment advertising of all types, including print, radio and on\-line postings; Acting as a liaison with outside vendors, employment agencies, college and vocational schools and temporary agencies; Coordinating recruiting programs such as Job Fairs, off\-site Recruitment fairs and College recruiting activity,  as well as supporting the recruiting process as needed by performing references, the background check process and non\-exempt recruiting\.

Scope:

This position reports directly to the Director of Corporate Staffing and has no direct reports\.  This position requires the jobholder to maintain a high level of diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality\.  Decisions are made often within the jobholder's area of control\.  Major decisions, or decisions outside the boundaries of company guidelines, are referred to higher authority\.  Decisions occasionally have impact on the organization and/or internal/external customer\.

Minimum Requirements:

High School education or the equivalent required, Bachelor¿s Degree preferred\.

1\-3 years human resources, business or related experience required\.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required\.

Proven ability to thrive in a self\-directed, fast\-paced environment with constantly changing priorities\.

Ability to interact with all levels of management inside and outside of the Company\.

Responsive sense of urgency and the ability to manage competing demands with a smile\.

Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and on\-line job boards required; additional HRIS experience preferred\.

Flexibility in work schedule is also required for possible overtime, work on holidays, weekends and extended hours with minimal notice and as required by operational need\.
