Powell is currently seeking aPowder Coat Technician, which will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor in the Fabrication department.This position is responsible for assisting the manufacturing process for various products and materials by assembly.
Essential Responsibilities:

Assist with daily and weekly preventative maintenance of the Paint Line equipment and facilities
*
Follow company operating procedures, safety rules and ISO requirements
*
Work independently or part of a small team and perform required tasks with little direct supervision
*
Use computer software to control equipment or look-up company information
*
Operation of pretreatment washer
*
Operation of powder coat booth
*
Hanging of parts to be pretreated
*
Palletizing of painted parts
*
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
*
High school diploma is an asset
*
Forklift certification is considered an asset
*
Elevated Work Platform certification is considered an asset
*
WHMIS Training is considered an asset
*
0 - 1 year of relevant powder coating experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing experience
