*Responsibilities:*

Working with a dynamic team in a busy environment the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating and closing telephone/walk-in sales orders through phone and face-to-face selling, and participating in marketing/sales events.

• Responsible for generating/ closing phone and face-to-face selling, order entry and management

• Work with multiple functional business areas to ensure critical order management milestones are met

• Process orders and provide customer service by assisting in product selection, negotiating price, performing order/quote entry, researching/resolving customer questions/complaints, maintaining sales literature/displays and arranging for customer training.

• Generate sales by cold/warm-calling current/prospective customers.

• Educate customers about product lines and provide advice.

• Comply with branch operational requirements by ensuring properly completed invoices and returns’, handling cashiering duties, maintaining the sales floor, ensuring that inventory is stocked properly, maintaining sales literature and event displays, participating in taking inventory and reconciling cash drawers.

• Participate in industry marketing/sales events, by attending trade shows, association programs and obtaining, providing product training.

• Assist with administrative support including answering telephones, filing, mail and courier, and any other duties as required.

*Basic Qualifications:*
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 yr of experience in a customer service or support environment such as inside sales, telemarketing, direct selling or sales support

*Additional Qualifications:*
• Post secondary education
• Sales experience in a retail or distribution environment
• Knowledge: CCTV, IP, AV technologies, Security, Fire, as well as project sales experience
• Sales and technical experience in security and low-voltage equipment, mobile and consumer electronic industries, including cellular, electrical, electronic, security systems, electric heaters, and wireless technology products
• Experience with order management, phone and counter sales, account assignment, inventory control and administrative support
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office and point of sale systems
• Ability to learn quickly and handle high call volume and thinks outside the box
• Excellent selling, negotiating and closing skills with ability to build and long term business relationships
• Strong work ethical standards, do what it takes to get the job done-approach, while supporting the team and providing superior customer service
• Self motivated, process driven, and goal orientated team player with winning attitude and positive outlook
• Strong multi-tasking, communication, organization, time-management and mathematical skills
• Proven ability to work unsupervised, and is able to make good high-production and customer-focused decisions daily.
