Amphenol Pcd engages in the design, manufacture, and marketing of electrical, electronic and interconnect systems, and coaxial and flat-ribbon cables worldwide. It produces various interconnect products and assemblies primarily for commercial aerospace and military systems and mass transportation applications, and industrial and factory automation equipment. Job Summary
The PS role is to assist in product marketing by giving technical assistance to customers, aiding in price quotations, and the development of marketing materials and/or projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and written English skills. The candidate should be self-motivated and driven to seek new business for the product line.

Summary of essential job functions
• Pricing and technical assistance to both internal and external customers
• Work with marketing/sales personnel and contact with outside vendors, customers, and sales people
• Generate cost matrixes as well as analysis
• Monthly forecasting activity
• Work with other intra company marketing, engineering, and customer service personnel

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Self-sufficient and able to work independently while maintaining a team player attitude
• Previous experience interacting with customers
• Willing and able to travel up to 50%
• Computer literate: MS Office, e-mail, with an emphasis on Excel
• 0-2 years’ experience. in a manufacturing environment

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Multi-lingual: French
• Background with ITT Cannon, Souriau, TE, Deutsch
• Market and/or Cost Analysis
• Sales background

Educational Requirements
• B.S. in marketing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Supervisory Responsibilities
• None

Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the majority of the work day. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer). Must be able to communicate with other intra-company personnel. May be exposed to manufacturing conditions.
