4 Qualifications
Qualifications:

The individual we seek should have a solid and diverse management consulting and leadership background. This person must incorporate outstanding leadership and people management skills, financial services industry expertise, consulting project and business management, and general business skills. The right person will have the ability to be hands-on in a business development role and in the delivery of the project (classic seller-doer business process model in play here).

To be successful at Navigant, a Director needs to be sales savvy and capable while at the same time have the substance required to add value on projects and lead the project teams. The incoming director will have:

* Mortgage Banking or consumer finance experience in a consultant and/or industry role
* A strong network of potential sales targets and proven history of consulting engagement sales
* A strong sense of regulatory compliance in the mortgage services and other consumer banking fields
* A history of large scale business consulting engagement delivery
* Capabilities that will create team wide operational effectiveness
* A thorough understanding of risk management
* Experience with business strategy development and execution
Additionally, the successful candidate will bring the following key attributes and capabilities:

* 12+ years of related experience, including a minimum of 8 successful years in consulting, including selling and managing projects
* Proven ability to successfully lead client service delivery teams that deliver the highest quality work
* Ability to thrive in a fast paced challenging environment.
* Proven leader who can work directly with client senior management and lead Navigant colleagues
* Aptitude for networking and sales
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Creative problem-solving ability and a collaborative, consultancy mindset
* Relationship-oriented with the ability to thrive in an organization where team building and authentic relationships are vital
* High energy, persuasive, and someone who leads by example
* Flexibility with respect to travel
* Bachelor’s degree; MBA or MA/MS degree in a related field a plus
* CPA, Lean, Six Sigma, PMP or other relevant certifications a plus
