Job Purpose:

Responsible for supporting the CPB Switzerland Investment Centre Head in the safeguarding and promotion of a balanced and effective business and working environment for the Private Bank in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities

Governance
* Act as delegate for the ICH in certain forums and for certain authorities;
* Researching and drafting material for ICH to present to CPB local and regional management as well as to country governance forums in Switzerland;
* Development of an Investment Centre Head Risk & Control ‘Dashboard’ drawing on MIS available in various forums and systems;
* Corrective Actions (CAPs) – develop a process, to include a tracking tool, to monitor all open CAPs and to ensure key milestones are met as well as the intended target date
Outsourcing
* Support the design and effectiveness of reporting and supervision of key areas of outsourcing and support the Investment Centre Head and CPB Front Office Switzerland Outsourcing owners in preparation for governance meetings;

IAMs & TPAs

* Pro-active role in the redesign of the Independent Asset Manager and Third-Party Agent Policies and Procedures, including a complete review of the end-to-end processes
* Develop Banker team education and be the focal point of contact for question arising

CPB Switzerland MCA Entity Rating

* Support the Investment Centre Head in the tracking and execution of all required actions to meet a sufficient assurance rating (or higher) on a sustainable basis

International Tax Agenda

* Manage MIS, updates and presentations on matters relating to International Tax transparency and the automatic exchange of information. Key is to remain abreast of local and international developments on this subject and to provide timely updates to senior management;
Other Responsibilities

* Supporting Business Risk & Control in certain key aspects of their duties – in particular supporting the analysis of allocation of responsibilities between Business Risk & Control, Supervisory Principles and Business Managers; the work to also include considerations of how required management reporting on key risks and tracking documents/deficiency reports could be automated and streamlined;
* Support CPB Switzerland Business Services Heads in the design and effectiveness of MCA in their areas of supervision;
* Co-ordination of Continuity of Business (‘COB’) for CPB Switzerland Front Office, as well as the key business interface for Crisis Management planning
* Conduct process reviews and challenge the process owners on the design and effectiveness of controls as well as ongoing reviews of the Manager Control Assessment (‘MCA’) and whether key operational risks are recorded and monitoring methodologies employed remain appropriate;
* Support CPB Switzerland in preparation for internal audit or external exams;
* Support the drive and engagement in Team Challenge from a CPB Switzerland perspective;
* Support Business and Product in the review of the standards of written procedures.
