London producer Alfie Casanova‘s latest remix for TT the Artist is a little bit of everything; UK house, rave, whatever genre Wave Racer is in, jersey, maximalist trap, and some nightcore. As odd as that combination might sound, it works SO well!
Shimmery synth chords shine like a neon coated vision from the ’80s; rubber squeaks bubble over a furious flourish of jersey club beats as TT’s royally fast bars take a dose of helium. Casanova’s reimagining of “Giddy Up” is an impressive feat considering how much ground Alfie manages to cover in just over 3 minutes. The resulting remix is a masterful and super fun showcasing of all that the hyper club scene has to offer.
