An Honest Sensa Review

I was
the guest speaker the other night at a meeting of female business owners
and I spoke about a subject that is "near and dear" to many
women's hearts...

Gas
and bloating!

I
got some good laughs from the group (I get very animated when talking about
bodily functions), but I also explained that good digestion is the key to
eliminating excess gas and "beach ball" bloating.

As
is the case many times when I talk, a woman (Karen) approached me after I
spoke and asked to talk to me confidentially.

She
explained that she had been struggling to take off weight but nothing
seemed to work. She'd always start out Iosing 5 or 10 pounds, but then
she'd "plateau," the weight would stop coming off, and she'd put
it all back on again and more.

I
asked what she had done so far and Karen said, "I've tried
EVERYTHING--Low carb, low fat, Slim Fast, Nutri-Systems, eating my meals on
a luncheon plate, grapefruit cleanses, and I hate to say it, but even
starving myself and only eating one small meal a day."

Then
she asked me, "What do you think of Sensa? I was thinking of trying
that."

I
responded, "Karen, first of all stop TRYING things and buying into
gimmicks. Any weight Ioss program that expects you to eliminate food groups
from your diet, starve yourself, eat only their (processed) meals or drink
"shakes" or concoctions instead of eating food is the fast track
to failure."

Then
I went on to explain why to Karen:

Sensa -- does it make
sense?

Sensa
is the latest news in the diet world. It's flying off the shelves at
lightning speed and is a favorite among teenage girls who want to sprinkle
their way to slimness.

Sensa
is artificial flavor crystals that you sprinkle on your favorite foods that
can allegedly "trick" your brain into thinking you're full.

The
idea is if your brain is successfully fooled long enough, you will eat less
and eventually Iose weight.

Let's
take a little closer look at this, shall we? Here are a few questions I
have:

1. Are ALL foods fair game?

With
Sensa, they say there is NO restriction on the type of foods you eat.

So
presumably, you can exist on pizza, burgers, French fries, soda and donuts
and the weight will just glide off.

Yeah
right. And even if that were true, with a diet like that it's only a matter
of time before you develop something like acid reflux, constipation,
elevated cholesterol, chronic inflammation, skin breakouts, liver problems
and/or type II diabetes.

Doesn't
sound like a fair tradeoff to me.

2. Do you
like running on a wheel?

Sensa
is an artificial "tastant" that is intended to work with your
sense of smell, fooling your brain and stomach into thinking you're full.

If
that doesn't raise red flags for you, I think you must be living under a
rock.

There
are currently NO studies that prove the safety of this chemically-induced
"brain trickery" and what it will do to your body (especially
your nervous system) over the long term.

So
in other words, you are offering yourself and your brain up as a guinea pig
just to become a size 8. Good luck with that.

And
as far as the product's success rate goes with its intended purpose--Iosing
weight--the manufacturer's "weight Ioss evidence" is based on
just a few company-sponsored studies.

How
convenient...

Customer
reviews of Sensa that I've seen are universally bad. So in the real world,
after the commercial hype is over, the product simply doesn't do what they
claim.

3. What happens when the
duping stops?

This
is the most obvious question.

Even
if you do take off weight with this stuff, tell me, what happens when you
stop deceiving your brain and start eating your "old way" again?

Let's
put it this way--I hope you didn't get rid of those bigger clothes in your
closet. You're going to need them soon.

And
you'd better hope mu-mus come back in style.

The tried and true
way to take off if off and keep it off

If
you're looking to get trimmer, the best way to go about it is NOT to trick
your brain, but the tried and true way--eat real foods, make sure your
digestion is efficient and move your butt.

Here's
what you need to know about each of those:

Eat REAL foods...like humans
used to do (when they were thinner)

At
least half and preferably 70-80% of what you eat should be real foods.
Remember, this is what we used to eat in the 70's and before...before Big
Food began their biggest push into our lives and our wallets.

Real
foods include fresh fruits, raw or lightly cooked vegetables, lean meats
and poultry, fish, whole grains, dairy and essential fats.

When
you eat real foods like these, your body can get nourished the way it needs
to be.

And
when you're properly nourished, these wonderful things can happen:

- You naturally get full
faster and end up eating less overall--with NO brain tricking necessary!

- The foods you'll be eating
are inherently lower in calories than pizza, burgers, fries, donuts or
