During my blogtastic adventures  in The Republic of Ireland I was fortunate enough to explore The west of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, A long distance touring route stretching along the Atlantic coast of Ireland from Donegal to West Cork.

Check out this awesome video by Failte Ireland to see what the Wild Atlantic Way is all about.

While I didn’t get to travel the entire “Wild Atlantic Way” in it’s entirety I was lucky enough to be taken on a breathtaking journey through the west of the route with 20 other travel bloggers over 3 amazing days where I got to take a glimpse into the heart Of Ireland’s west coast.

So join me over the coming weeks as I take you on a journey through the west of Ireland’s “Wild Atlantic Way”, From exploring the elegant heritage town of Westport.

To Cycling along the Great Western Greenway, An abandoned railway line between  Greenway from Mulranny to Newport

Sailing  a traditional Galway hooker along the southern Conemara

Getting active and trying some Clay Pigeon shooting at The Killary Adventure Centre

Riding Segways through the historic town of Galway like a super villain.

And exploring the nightlife of this great city.

To visitng a 17th 17th century Connemara hill-village Cnoc Suain to partake in some traditional Irish dancing.

And of course no trip to Ireland would be complete without sampling it’s mouthwatering cuisine, From sampling local artisan foods in Mulranny Park Hotel, Fresh locally made clam Chowder in Newport, Irish breakfast’s and of course no trip to Ireland would be complete with some Irish Whiskey tasting.

Me being all classy in the Zetland hotel.

So sit back and let me show you why Ireland is one of my favorite countries to visit.

I went on this trip as a guest of  Fáilte Ireland. They did not request that I write a positive review and all opinions expressed here, are my own.
