Clock Tower Closers Grows to 32 Members by Year End

HUDSON (Jan 17, 2017) – People in Hudson have a reputation for getting things done, so it should come as no surprise when a group of local business professionals recently opened a chapter of BNI in Hudson, the results were very successful.

“Since our launch in October 2016, I believe we are one of the fastest growing BNI groups in Ohio,” said Jeff Shupe, President of the Clock Tower Closers and owner of Securus Insurance Agency. “Our membership has rapidly grown to include 32 members.”

The group only accepts one person per professional specialty in the chapter. Each weekly meeting is structured to help the members learn about the other businesses, their services and especially what type of customer referral they are seeking.

“By focusing on learning each other’s best customers, we get to know each other and can refer business when someone is looking for that a specific product or service,” he explained. “There is a real energy in our group. We have fun, but are also serious about helping each other and passing referrals.”

The business professionals learn sales skills and create a 45-second commercial. Each week one member provides a 10-minute presentation about their company, describing their background, type of services and how they help their customers or clients.

“On average when our members practice our “Givers Gain” belief, members have seen increase in their business by 20% the first year,” he explained.  “Our chapter is a dynamic, committed group of business people who know how to refer business to each other. We have open categories for individuals who will bring enthusiasm and integrity to our meeting.”

The organization meets Tuesday mornings at 7:30 at the Heritage of Hudson at 1212 Barlow Road. Business professional who interested in learning more about the organization are welcome to visit the website to find out more at www.bnineo.com/oh-eastern-clock-tower-closers.
