The Asian Art Association from the Denver Art Museum offered this two week trip to China. 18 people went including the Art Museum's Asian Art curator and the tour director/owner of Access China. It was designed for second time visitors to China and focused on art, both old and new, and "off the beaten track" places including Dunhuang in the Gobi Desert (Northern Silk Route) and Lijiang (Southern Silk Route.) Highlights included the Mogao Cave paintings, private museums and artist studios.
