I build this ROMs starting from official Xiaomi RedRice (HongMi) ROMs, with only minimal changes. This ROMs are for who wish to try the official Xiaomi User Interface. Other MIUI ROMs on this site are better (fill with optimizations) than mine. These ROMs have only an high free memory for apps (about 550MB)
There are 2 ROMs versions:
1- RedRice-YYYYMMDD : official Xiaomi RedRice ROM from http://en.miui.com/download-82.html only EN-CN language
2- RedRice-multi-YYYYMMDD : unofficial multilanguage RedRice ROM from http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/4-5-30.24444/
All the 2 ROMs have only this changes, with files from V5 stock ROM 1022:
- boot.img (kernel)
- modem.img (baseband)
- memsicd3416x (compass)
- bootanimation (logo)
- miui root enabled
- In unofficial ROMs i added the MiMarked.apk as system app. Official ROM have original SuperMarket.apk.
How to install ROMs:
- copy zip to SD
- reboot phone in CWM recovery
- select wipe data / factoy reset -> yes (skip this if you update from previous/other MIUI rom)
- select install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> file.zip -> yes
- reboot your phone
