Beating Multiple Sclerosis through Biking
NCI supported an NCI AdvanceMed employee who participated in a two-day 150-mile bike ride hosted by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Virginia. The Society hosts such rides in 100 cities nationwide to support its mission of eradicating multiple sclerosis through fundraising and awareness. The Society has 50 chapters throughout the United States and “helps people affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.”
