Former S.F. Giants Third Base Coach Tim Flannery Headlines “The Event” at Peach Tree GC
Former S.F. Giants third base coach Tim Flannery is headed to Peach Tree Golf and Country Club in Marysville for “The Event.”
Flannery will be the frontman when his band—Tim Flannery and the Lunatic Fringe—perform at “The Event” concert at the club this Thursday.
In 2015, the singer/songwriter released his 14th album “Three Ring Circus” with the cover showing three World Series rings from his time with Giants. The tour stop in Marysville is in support of the album.
“We’ve played a lot since we released the record, probably 50 shows since the release,” Flannery told the Appeal-Democrat. “Now, because of my workload, I’m only doing a couple shows a month, but we are looking forward to playing.”
In its fourth year, proceeds from “The Event” will help the Yuba City High baseball program.
In addition to a night of music, Rolling Stone Pizza Co. will be at the event along with the Peach Tree chef.
“The experience is not only music, it’s also food,” said longtime Peach Tree member John Cassidy, chairperson of “The Event.”. “You cannot go to an event with better food and libations.”
Uno Mundo with Dahni Piro will be opening for Tim Flannery and the Lunatic Fringe. Tickets for the concert are $59. Doors open at 6 p.m.
