In early June, several of our associates spent a week in Las Vegas. While they were in the proximity of all the shiny and glamorous hotels and casinos Sin City has to offer, they spent most of their time surrounded by glossy new new state-of-the-art audio visual technology on display at InfoComm 2016.
Our employees joined nearly 40,000 attendees from more than 100 countries at the yearly event, which took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We had the opportunity to walk the Convention Center floor, scanning the 1,000 exhibitors and thousands of products, looking for cutting edge solutions that can help us maintain our commitment to making communication and collaboration happen for our customers. We also visited with dozens of manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers over the course of the week.
Many of our Unified Communications and AV Solutions team members have participated in InfoComm training courses and earned industry certifications through the organization. InfoComm members come from a wide range of roles in the industry including system contractors; dealers, distributors, and retailers; manufacturers; and live events professionals, among others.
InfoComm International is the foremost nonprofit association serving the professional audiovisual communications industry worldwide. The InfoComm conference and exhibition is an annual showcase of the latest AV technology that can be deployed in customized integrations or utilized in multimedia productions, and affords AV professionals the opportunity to learn skills and grow their networks.
