Good afternoon all,

My wife got orders out to Camp lejeune for March so I thought that I would try to throw some feelers out there before we arrive so I can hit the ground running with the fishing if possible.

Let me tell you a little about my fishing history.

Grew up in northern California where I did mostly trout fishing. I had three bass ponds on the property my father caretook, but that wasn't real bass fishing as I did not see it as a real challenge, and I found the sierra nevadas more fun jumping rocks looking for nice trout holes in the high mountains.

I then Joined the Marines some after college and spent 7 years where I did quite a bit of deep sea fishing. Went out on charters quite a few times, had a friend i would shark fish with, but most of my time was spent shore fishing. I did hit up the lake that I believe still holds the record for largemouth bass a few times in dixon lake. I also dabbled in spear fishing a little, but never got too serious in that as I could never find anyone to go with.

Three Years ago My wife got orders to Oklahoma City where I am currently awaiting my next location. I have upgraded from jon boat to a 16 ft. bass boat since I have gotten out here. I primarily target bass, since that is the best game fish to target in my opinion. Done some catfishing out here, but I prefer to be a little more active while fishing.

I have already looked at the writeup about the Jacksonville area as well, so thank you for that.

I am looking forward to finding some new waters to fish, even if I didn't get to all the lakes here in oklahoma yet.

I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you all a little about me.
