Alaska 2015 charter.
We are looking for a few people to fill a trip of a lifetime to Alaska. We're looking for serious inquires only. This trip is moving fast. We plan on going with a total of 12 people, 2 boats. Thanks for your inquiry and interest in a multi-day saltwater fishing excursion in the summer of 2015. Below is an itemized breakdown of costs of the trip we have been recently discussing. I am writing under the assumption of two (2) 3-day, 2-night Port Ashton trips as well as there being twelve members of your group. Should that number be only six (one boat), the overall price would increase by $90.00 per person based upon a small increase in Seward lodging cost as well as a small increase in the cost of the private shuttle to and from Anchorage to Seward.

Day 1) JULY 6th
Arrive Anchorage International Airport. Pick and transfer to Seward in Private Shuttle bus. Overnight in Seward in private lodging. ($50 + $60 = $110)
Days 2, 3, 4) JULY 7th, 8th and 9th
Three day, Two night trip to Port Ashton Lodge (see below). ($1395)
Night 4)
Overnight again in Seward in private lodging. ($60)
Day 5) JULY 10TH
R&R day in Seward.
Overnight again in Seward in private lodging. ($60)
Days 6, 7, 8) JULY 11,12 and 13th
Three day, Two night trip to Port Ashton Lodge. ($1395)
Night 8)
Overnight again in Seward in private lodging. ($60)
Day 9) JULY 14th
Organize fish/baggage and private shuttle (one trip), with trailer, to Anchorage International Airport. ($50)
Grand Total = $3155.00 (Nine (9) Days, Eight (8) Nights)

Brief description of one (1) of the remote lodge trips (Port Ashton Lodge)
Day 1 –
Depart Seward leaving from Slip K-3 in Seward Small Boat Harbor at 7:00 am, overnight at Port Ashton Lodge (Look-Out Cabin). Vessel “Carolyn” 33’ Sportfisher or “Jillian Dawn” 32’ Sportfisher. Please bring your fishing licenses, 3 days worth of snacks and beverages, and foul weather gear. All bait, tackle, ice and equipment provided. Vessels have a heated cabin, comfortable seating for 6 (six), and restroom on board. Today’s catch will be filleted, temporarily packaged and “glazed”.
Day 2 –
Fishing all-day remote Prince William Sound, over-nighting again at Port Ashton Lodge (Look Out Cabin). Today’s catch will be filleted, packaged and iced for transport back to Seward the following day.
Day 3 –
Fish all-day remote Prince William Sound/Gulf Coast waters with return to Seward approximately 5 pm. Overnight in Seward.
Your deposit of 50% will confirm the above reservation. Final payment can be sent at any time prior to 90 days before departure. You may of course add another day in Seward at any point in your trip for approximately $60 per person, per night… with advance notice!
With all of the moving parts in this trip (i.e. shuttle, Seward lodging, boats, Port Ashton lodging, etc.) it will be of upmost importance to confirm/reserve all facets as soon as possible. Thanks for understanding this.

The small print
Reservation Policy:
Thank you for choosing PFISH, please read on just to sort out the details before we get our lines wet. In accordance with our volatile economy and spiking oil prices, we maintain the right to implement a fuel surcharge if necessary. There will be a $3.50 per person, per departure Harbor Tax which goes to the city of Seward. All reservations are considered tentative until a deposit of 50% of the charter is received. The remaining 50% balance can be paid any time prior to 45 days before departure.
Cancellation Policies:
Your deposit is refundable with written cancellation notice received at least 30 days before your first day of fishing. If you need to change the date of your charter we will make all efforts to accommodate you and your advanced notice will greatly assist us in this matter.
Mechanical Cancellations:
All efforts will be made to accommodate your fishing around these unforeseeable events by putting you on a partner vessel.
Weather Cancellations:
Fishing will be performed either in Resurrection Bay, the Gulf of Alaska and/or Prince William Sound. The PFISH crew cannot predict, control or affect the weather in any way. By booking a charter with us there is no guarantee where you will fish. The captain will determine daily if the weather is safely navigable and where the fishing will take place. If the captain determines the weather un-safe or un-fishable your trip will be re-scheduled if possible.
Fish Catches:
Although the PFISH crew have fished our waters for numerous years and are experts at what we do, we cannot guarantee the catching of any specific species of fish or any fish at all. We sell a fishing charter which provides our clients the opportunity to fish for and most likely catch various species of fish indigenous to our waters. Having booked a charter in no way guarantees fish of any species, any size or even that fish will be caught. In fact it is against the law in Alaska for a Charter Operator to guarantee fish will be caught.
The owners of PFISH recommend the use of travel insurance. We can help arrange travel insurance for a nominal amount and this will insure your fishing trip in the event of a weather, mechanical, or other situation that may cause your fishing day(s) to be cancelled or postponed. PFISH cannot refund last minute cancellations out of our control, please use Travel Insurance.
