Armidale Dumaresq Council is calling for potential tenders for the sale of the Armidale Regional Livestock Selling facility.
The decision to sell the saleyards was made following a meeting last month, where Mayor Laurie Bishop described the facility’s maintenance as an “unnecessary burden on ratepayers”.
It’s also part of council’s ‘Fit for the Future’ review of assets.
