This year’s Legal Elite polling garnered 6,454 nominations of attorneys from across the Silver State. This annual list highlights Nevada’s top attorneys as chosen by their peers. All votes are based on nominations from other attorneys and the following pages highlight the top vote getters in Northern Nevada, Southern Nevada, the Best Up and Coming attorneys and the top 10 Government lawyers.
According to the the Nevada Bar Association’s annual report, there are 8,599 active members, with 60 percent of those members practicing in Clark County. The Legal Elite list features nearly 200 attorneys from Southern Nevada, nearly 100 from Northern Nevada and just over 50 attorneys are featured in the Best Up and Coming list. The top vote getters in each category were chosen for the cover and include Elias George from Gordon Silver as the Best Up and Coming attorney, Catherine Reichenberg from Gunderson Law as the top Northern Nevada attorney and Matthew Friedman from Ford & Friedman as the top Southern Nevada attorney.
