# Responsibilities

**_Monetization:_**
* Client-Specific RFPs & Brainstorms: Partner with sales to formulate marketable sales strategies that are customized to fit specific client objectives; includes brainstorming and liaising with sales teams to create compelling CNBC cross-platform sales programs (reactive sales support)
* Develop New Sales Opportunities: Identify high-interest 360 tent-pole opportunities that will serve as compelling thought-starters for client conversations (proactive sales support)
* Optimize Sales Campaigns: Oversee the post-sell process to help address sponsorship fulfillment, refinements and maximize campaign delivery

**_Strategy:_**
* Go-to-Market: Partner with the Director of Ad Sales Marketing to continually evolve and refine CNBC’s go-to-market strategy to stay competitive and relevant within the evolving media landscape
* Packaging: Create, socialize and execute offerings that leverage the CNBC & CNBC Prime brands, NBC News and relevant NBCU portfolio; identify cross-platform opportunities for potential increase of overall client spend
* Products: Collaborate with CNBC & CNBC Prime editorial teams to identify and develop new ad opportunities around key on-air, digital, social, mobile and experiential product offerings

**_Messaging:_**
* Sales Collateral: Create and manage portfolio of CNBC 360 sales materials, programming/event one sheets, case studies, research one-sheets, etc.
* Internal Communication/Facilitation: Manage inbound CNBC marketing requests and liaise with all appropriate groups (on-air/digital sales, ad sales marketing, editorial, research, PR, consumer marketing, creative services, legal, finance, product team, cross-NBCU engagement (News, Sports, Entertainment, Client Solutions, Integrated Marketing, etc.) to facilitate efficient and transparent communication. Educate internal constituents on CNBC strategy and drive top of mind awareness within the sales organization. Ability to communicate efficiently between Ad Sales and editorial teams daily, manage expectations on development and delivery of client-specific projects.
* Advertising and Sponsorships: Evaluate opportunities to promote CNBC and CNBC Prime through event sponsorships, advertising and other external channels.

# Qualifications/Requirements

**_Basic Qualifications:_**

* Minimum 5 years of experience with a background in working on financial services, B-to-B, management consultants, corporate campaigns, technology, automotive clients, and more, at an agency, media company or sales organization, where the individual was responsible for presentation, creative, sponsorship fulfillment and promotion development.
* Bachelor’s Degree

* Understanding of the promotion development and execution process and experience executing promotions
* Familiarity with product integration and reality programming
* Familiarity with the standard syndicated analytics tools (Nielsen, Ipsos Affluent Survey, Erdos & Morgan, Omniture, @Plan, comScore, etc.) and ability to derive insights from the data
* Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Photoshop
