Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities:
As the Digital Designer:

* Work closely with the Digital Art Director and Production to create industry leading creative and digital campaigns for our network shows.

* Active participation in meetings for assigned shows, properties, projects and campaigns.

* Develop multiple design ideas/solutions on a per project basis.

* Communicate and present design concepts to the Digital Art Director and project team.

* Deliver engaging and high quality creative assets for assigned projects for all digital platforms.

* Responsible for the creation of presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts, branding, digital marketing and experience design.

* Develop strong relationships with the your Design|UX+UI team counterparts, producers and project teams to ensure quality deliverables, budgets, and timelines are met.

* Actively work to gain knowledge and experience regarding NBC Entertainment Digital Design & Experience Philosophy, products, processes, consumer trends and overall culture.

* Maintain digital brand style guide parameters for assigned shows, products and integrations.

* Maintain visual quality and consistency for assigned shows across all platforms (Mobile, Web, Social, App & 10ft).

* Inspire new ideas to the Design|UX+UI Team through active participation in meetings.
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:

* 3-5 years of experience as Visual, Digital, User Interface or Interaction Designer within a large-scale consumer facing organization or digital agency.

* 2 years experience developing digital campaigns for mobile, social and multi-platform brands.

* BA Degree or higher in Interactive, Visual, User Interface or Motion design (OR) combined work experience with designing for mobile platforms.

* HTML5, CSS3, Responsive/Adaptive Design, Mobile and Social design skills are required.

* Strong Working Knowledge of Adobe CS, HTML5, CSS3 and Mobile platforms are required.

* Core understanding of designing for Mobile, Social and emerging digital platforms required.

* Education in Mobile and Responsive Design is required.

* Extremely strong skills in image compositing, digital production and the creation of design assets for multiple locations and campaigns with live operations.

* Passionate self-starter with high-level of initiative, ownership and disciplined design approach.

* Ability to work with small and large teams, present ideas verbally and create detailed visual directions for presentations.

* Understand the value of regular and effective communication & team-based problem solving.

* Experience designing for Mobile (iOS & Android) Web, Apps, and social platforms.

* Knowledge of new and emerging trends for digital marketing, design and advertising.

* Experience working within a fast-paced environment across internal and external teams.

* Experience working on complex mobile/web campaigns with consumer focused marketing.

* Broadcast Network, Film Studio, Digital Agency Experience, and/or experience with touch enabled devices and 10ft systems for Consumer Entertainment Brands are a HUGE PLUS.

* Entertainment, Consumer Electronics & Lifestyle Brand experience are a BIG PLUSES.

* A strong portfolio showcasing broad range samples of multi-platform visual design is a MUST.
