Sheriff’s deputies discovered a dead body in the parking lot of a grocery store in Fallbrook Thursday night, officials confirmed.
According to authorities, deputies and fire officials were called to reports of a body found in the parking lot of an Albertson’s supermarket in the 1100 block of South Mission Road right around 7:15 p.m.
The death of the victim was confirmed on the spot.
Deputies said the death looked suspicious in nature. Homicide detectives are now responding to the scene to gather evidence and begin their investigation.
