A "leapling" is a baby born on Leap Day, and that's what Lincoln Wyatt Bervall is.

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center officials said Lincoln Wyatt was born at 3:13 p.m. Monday, "weighing in at 8 pounds, 14.7 ounces and 21 inches long."

Someday, Lincoln Wyatt may choose to spend his Leap Day birthday in Anthony, Texas, the self-proclaimed Leap Year Capital of the World.

She and friends were able to convince the city of Anthony, Texas/New Mexico to agree to a Leap Year Festival every Leap Year. Mary Ann and friends were also able to convince the governors of each state to agree and it wasn't long before Anthony was proclaimed the Leap Year Capital of the World."
