The men Dallas police believe were in a stolen van that crashed into a family, killing a teenager, have waived extradition.
Dagoberto Castañon and Rogelio Avila were arrested Friday in Lee County, Florida and are currently in jail.
It could take a weeks before they are brought back to Dallas.
The Lee County Sheriff says transportation arrangements are being made.
They face murder charges in last Tuesday’s crash that killed 13-year-old Ethan Vasquez and injured his mother Sandy, who remains hospitalized.
A memorial for Ethan is scheduled for Wednesday at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
His funeral is set for Thursday at Lakeside Baptist Church.
