Faculty Positions for Theoretical and Computational Directions on Biology Related Topics in Nanjing University ,Nanjing (China) The Kuang Yaming Honors School at Nanjing University is seeking candidates for faculty positions at the level of Professor and Associate Professor.
Preference will be given to applicants with experiences in interdisciplinary theoretical and computational directions on biology related topics, such as theoretical and simulation researches on biology combined with computational physics, chemistry and material science, including Biophysics, Bioinformatics, Biomaterials, Chemical Physics, Chemical Biology and Mathematical Biology. The successful applicant is expected to develop an innovative research program and to be committed to high quality teaching undergraduate level courses on physics, chemistry, biology or mathematics. About Kuang Yaming Honors School of Nanjing University
uang Yaming Honors School of Nanjing University dates from 1985 when it was first known as the School for Gifted Youth. During the following twenty seven years, it evolved in four stages: School for Gifted Youth(1985 - 1990), Department forIntensive Instruction(1989 - 1997), School of Intensive Instruction in Sciences and Arts (1998 - 2005) and Kuang Yaming Honors School (2006 - present). This School, a unique department in Nanjing University, is a forerunner in the higher education reform in China and a pilot program of talent development by both Nanjing University and the Ministry of Education of China.
