Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a Recruitment notification to fill up 117 Vacancies. Exam Syllabus:
2 phases of written examination & personnel interview
Phase I) Preliminary Exam(objective type):- consist of 200 questions.
1) PATTERN OF THE EXAMINATION: online objective type.

There will be negative marks for every wrong answer.
1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Candidates should have to qualify in each topic of above given 5 topics.
Phase II) Main Exam(Descriptive Type):After qualifying phase I,candidates will be allowed to write the main exam.It consists 3 papers.
(i) Paper I- English-100 marks-3 hrs duration
Syllabus: Essay writing, Comprehension, Precis writing, Business/Office Correspondence.
(ii) Paper II- Economic and Social Issues-100 marks-3 hrs duration
Syllabus:National Income and per capita income, Monetary and Fiscal Policy, Economic Reforms in India, Social Structure in India and Positive Discrimination in favour of the under privileged.
(iii) Paper III- Finance and Management-100 marks-3 hrs duration
Syllabus:
Finance: Budget, taxes, SEBI, role of financial institutions and banks in economic development, marketing, stock exchanges, regulations of financial institutions and banks and Disinvestment in Public Sector Units.
Management: management processes, , leadership, Human Resource development planning, organization, staffing, directing and controlling etc.
After qualifying each paper in phase II,candidates will be allowed to personnel interview.
Final selection will be made based on the candidates performance in written tests and interview marks taken together.
