Katherine Ramsland Ph.D. has published 48 books and over 1,000 articles, stories, reviews, chapters, and blogs related to crimes and criminals, exploring the evils within their minds and the ghosts that haunt us. She holds graduate degrees in forensics psychology, clinical psychology and criminal justice. Currently, she teaches forensic psychology and criminal justice at DeSales University in Pennsylvania.

Her background in forensic studies positioned her to assist former FBI profiler John Douglas on his book, The Cases That Haunt Us and to co-write a book with former FBI profiler, Gregg McCrary, The Unknown Darkness: Profiling the Predators Among Us She also co-wrote a book with Henry C. Lee, The Real World of a Forensic Scientist: Renowned Experts Reveal What It Takes to Solve Crimes Ramsland speaks internationally about forensic psychology, forensic science, and serial murder, and has appeared on numerous documentaries, as well as such programs as The Today Show, 20/20, Montel Williams, NPR, Larry King Live and E! True Hollywood. She was the recurring expert for the American Occult series on the ID network, and her latest book is Blood & Ghosts: Haunted Crime Scene Investigations
