The beautiful Ash Vauzhanei, a fan on our Facebook page, requested some picture professional styles. I’ll gladly post some pictures with this disclaimer:
We have entered an era unlike any other. There are now so many black women embracing their nappy lovely hair. There will probably be a debate about what is or is not professional. In my humble opinion, we are setting that standard NOW!
Personally, I’ve decided that wearing my hair in any style that is “dress code" approved is 100% professional. I will follow the lead of my white counterparts. If they aren’t feeling the need to wear updos that conceal their hair as much as possible, I won’t either.
THESE styles are a fun different styles that are work friends, however, Afros and twistouts are Tamara McDaniel approved!
