Primary Care Psychology Associates is a growing group practice with psychologists integrated into various internal medicine, pediatrics, and gastrointestinal clinics throughout Chicago and the northern suburbs. We are seeking a clinical psychologist for two full-time positions in the northern suburbs of Chicago, with possibility for a few days at one of our city locations.
The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to work independently under the umbrella of a team-oriented and collaborative approach. Responsibilities will include consulting closely with primary care providers, providing therapy within a brief behavioral health model, and conducting psychological evaluations. The patient population will be primarily adults presenting with a variety of clinical concerns, including mood disorders, sleep issues, pain management, and relationship concerns, to name a few. The qualifying psychologists will also have the opportunity to supervise graduate students or interns participating in our APPIC-member internship in primary care psychology.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program and must be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Illinois. Experience working in a medical setting is preferred. Opportunities for additional training in integrated behavioral health will be available.
