Certification Information
Laser hair removal training certification requirements vary from state to state, but in most states you must have previously completed your high school education or earned your GED. You also must attend a training program and meet your state’s required hours for hands-on clinical training. Many people wonder if you need an aesthetic license to attend a laser hair removal training school. You do not, but if you were thinking of also attending an aesthetician school we recommend completing laser training first. This is because laser training takes two weeks to gain certification whereas aesthetician school can take 6-12 months.
