**The group(s) were created because there were users who wanted to be sysops but that the wiki did not feel were fully qualified for the position. So a group was created that they were qualified for. That does not mean they are exclusively in charge of what happens in the forums. ***I disagree fully, for the simple fact that, up until these flags were actually created, no sysops actually bothered to moderate the forums. Only after these flags were created and a couple of users were given the tools to moderate the forums, so that sysops did not need to feel pestered into moderating them, did sysops start to do moderation. The voting threads for me and a couple of others made it abundantly clear that the users took sysops to mean "mainspace editors". In the time that there was a forum requests page, our forum moderators have refused to use it because they felt that sysops were interfering unnecessarily in requests that did not concern them. By placing this section here, you are further interfering in a section of the site that you don't actually care about. Apart from TU3 and Jacce, I do not see a single sysop get involved in forum moderation. *****Actually, I will, because I was made a forum op for a reason, and Windy was made forum moderator for a reason: the sysops didn't care to moderate the forums so Dantman asked for a few flags to be made so you sysops could mess around with your mainspace and leave us useless editors to moderate the forums (sarcasm employed). Isn't it very convenient that it's only after me and Windy become forum mods/ops respectively that you start to get involved in them when it isn't wanted nor asked for? You don't post in the forums very often (for anything beyond wiki discussions), nor do you enforce any forum policies at all so I will ask you to please leave the management of the forums to the forum operators and forum moderators, who have been tasked with this duty. *******Stop replying to me. You don't get involved in the forums at all, apart from wiki only discussions. You do not moderate them in any way, in one instance even fuelling a flame war for no reason, just because you felt you could. Nobody is asking you to moderate the forums, that is why we have SPECIFIC forum mods and ops to do that job. You just go back to moderating your precious mainspace and leave us forum mods/forum ops -- who are apparently too stupid to edit the mainspace -- to moderate the forums. You do your mainspace, we'll do our forums and I'll be asking that all forum requests be directed to the specific talkpages of forum ops/moderators so you don't need to involve yourself in them. Considering that most sysops were attempting to blank the forums when they were opened up and forcing me to do all moderation duties, it's very hypocritical and hilarious for you (and any other sysop) to try and tell me that you will moderate them whatever way you want to moderate them, especially as no sysop bothered to do so before the forum op/forum mod flags were created. Stop trying to threaten and bully me into doing things your way.

***********I'll reign myself back in when Tau admits that he will cease his threatening and abusive behaviour that he has demonstrated a fair few times in the wiki to a range of users for no reason at all and realises his behaviour contravenes the Wikia TOU (you will not harass or be abusive to any user). It's very much hilarious when people try to control my behaviour towards others when they don't look at their fellow sysops and see the same coming from them. Sysops lead by example: if they get to be abusive and threatening to the wider wiki community, then expect the wider wiki community to do the same everywhere else.
