Originally released in 2003 and rebooted in 2011, “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided” is the most recent installment in the famed cyberpunk action-role playing game. Not only has the title been given an official release date, but its collector’s and pre-order bonuses have been scrutinized – it’s not one to miss out on.
Firstly, the title will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and Steam on February 23, 2016. There will be a collector’s edition, a day one edition with exclusive box art. This will include a limited edition steelbook game case, nine-inch figure of the game’s protagonist Adam Jensen, and a 48-page artbook. But these aren’t the only goodies in store for “Mankind Divided.”
Exclusively from Square Enix and Eidos, a pre-order program called “Augment Your Pre-Order” is being launched today. In spirit of the choice-driven gameplay, this worldwide event will be in the hands of the players. The more pre-orders, the more goodies everyone can receive.
This pre-order event will be starting today with tier one. It begins with a minimum pre-order payment of $1, and will give the ability to select one item from the tier. This idea will continue as pre-order goals are met.
Tier one will have three separate digital items to choose from; the Classic, Enforcer and Intruder packs. Tier two will contain a digital OST sampler and art book, tier three will have an exclusive in-game mission. Tier four will feature a digital novella and comic, and tier five will allow the game to be released four days early.
A Square Enix membership is mandatory in order to participate; this can be made or previously owned. All redemption of pre-order items will be done on the event’s official website. Additionally, more information on the title and the universe that surrounds it can be found there.
