The premiere community of Quail West Golf amp; Country Club is forging ahead with new renovation plans to bring enhanced amenities to area residents. In adding state-of-the-art technology and physical improvements to the club, Quail West is well poised to retain its status as one of Southwest Florida’s most desirable private country clubs. The $30 million renovation plan includes enhancing the clubhouse with a 12,000 square foot wellness and fitness building to open in early 2017, expanding upon the complex’s pre-function spaces and enhancing the outdoor and casual dining experience. This includes quick food service at an Internet Café and overall kitchen renovations to improve food service and preparation throughout the club.As well, the clubhouse will be adding parking and LED lighting as well as redoing some of the club’s tennis courts. When finished, the fitness center will offer room for spin classes and Pilates, as well as room for personal training, weight and cardio rooms. The center will connect to the clubhouse and indoor heated swimming pool.Renovation of the banquet kitchen and upstairs fine dining area should be finished later this fall while a redesign of the clubhouse’s main lobby is underway and nearly complete. The renovated lower level of the clubhouse will remain more casual and traditional while the upper floor will exude a more formal design.Other additions include enhancing the greens and fairways of the Arthur Hills-designed golf courses. While the Preserve Course is set to re-open in late 2016, work on the Lakes Course will begin in spring, with that course re-opening by late 2017.Filled with luxurious villas and estate homes, Quail West is positioning itself in the future to remain one of the top private country club communities in North Naples, eventually expected to become home to 678 single-family homes, while fulfilling an active lifestyle within a full-service community atmosphere.
