The Mekong Institute (MI) is an intergovernmental organization of the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS). Its products and services include training, research, policy dialogue and sub-regional development projects in the GMS countries. This year MI will be implementing four regional development projects: a) East-West Economic Corridor Project,  “Capacity Building for a More Equitable and Inclusive Growth, GMS”, to be funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). b) “Capacity Development for Integrating CLMV Economies into AEC” funded by New Zealand Aid Programme, c) “Enhancing Competitiveness of SMEs on Southern Economic Corridor of ASEAN Mekong Subregion” to be funded by Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund, and d) “Promoting Regional Agriculture Value Chains on the GMS Southern Economic Corridor (SEC)” to be funded by ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Fund.
