The role

We are currently seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to work closely with our other specialists in our Water Management Improvement Project (WMIP), Package No-2 funded by World Bank in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities:

S/he will lead this independent M&E Unit, housed under PCU, which would report directly to the Program Steering Committee (PSC)

S/he would liaison with the Project Director, WMIP or, PCU for logistics, program coordination and contract administration purposes as and when needed

With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

Master's degree in Economics/ Social Science/ Anthropology/ any other relevant subject or Master's degree in water resources management from a recognized university

Experience in M&E of development programs, particularly in community based water sector projects

20 years of overall experience in water resources development/management projects, of which at least 5 years recent experience in monitoring & evaluation
