I have a glass cylinder that's 14 gal , hoping someone could tell me what I would need to turn it into a nano reef tank ..... It is 12 inches in diameter and 29 inches in height .... I know I need a 75w fully submergible heater , T5's, metal halides, or LEDs? What would be best is something that would be able to hang or sit on the glass lid ... I have seen some that have pieces of metal that come out to hold it up.... . , not sure what I will need for a powerhead ? filter ? .... I have read that I don't need a protein skimmer since it's a small tank but I'm interested in opinions on that .... But Everything needs to be able to go on curved glass, inside, hang above or sit on top of a circular glass piece I am using as a lid ..... I know that a cylinder tank isn't the best and it difficult to work with but I have been carrying it around for the past 8 years .... And at one point it was used as a aquarium in a hotel that my dad had built so I'm super attached to it and really wanna turn it into something beautiful
