The battery percentage indicator can be enabled or disabled outright
from the Settings application in iOS. Many prefer to see the numeric
amount of battery level that’s remaining, so it's common for the feature
to end up being enabled by the user. On the other hand, because of the
limited amount of space in the Status Bar, it's good to minimize the
amount of items that appear in the Status Bar at one time.

A new free jailbreak tweak called No Percent Sign by iOS
developer iLendSoft will hide the percent sign from the battery
percentage indicator in the Status Bar so that all you see is the
battery icon with a number next to it, as shown above.

No Percent Sign gives the user the best of both worlds by eliminating
this unnecessary character and creating more empty space; however, the
user will still get the benefit of seeing their battery percentage in
the Status Bar. By taking up less space the Status Bar feels cleaner and
less cluttered.

The tweak doesn't have any options to configure. If you want to give No
Percent Sign a try, you can download the tweak for free right now in
Cydia's BigBoss repository.
