Job Summary
Assist in the implementation and proper execution of all project plans related to data based services
Responsible for functional and technical development and management of data services; i.e. ensuring that identified and approved data products are rolled out and effective management is applied throughout the product lifecycle.

Principal Functions

Conduct research on current trends in the delivery of data services, monitor related developments in the telecommunications industry and proffer suggestions on relevant innovations to the Manager, Product Development Voice & Data

Assist in the development of propositions for data related products/services, including roadmaps and product support solutions.

Liaise with IT in defining suitable/compatible platforms for all approved data services.

Assist in conducting quality checks on all EMTS data service offerings to ensure alignment with defined functional specifications.

Develop Business requirements documents, FAQ, training slides and facilitate product training for all data related data services.

Attend unit/team meetings as required.

Coach, supervise and direct the activities of subordinates/junior staff (where applicable).

Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Manager, Product Development Voice & Data.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Product Development Voice & Data.

Specialist; Product Marketing

Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Product Marketing, you will assist in the development of digital media propositions, consumer research and insight, pricing, acquisition and churn management. You will be working closely with Brands & Experience, Business Intelligence and Customer Value Management teams, helping to drive data-driven decision making, and following through on the execution of marketing and media plans.
Ideally, you would be someone who is adept at thinking strategically about difficult business problems. You should have a strong communication skills to engage and influence both technical and non-technical audiences all while having a strong passion for Digital and VAS services.

Principal Functions

Plan and lead the execution of marketing activities for VAS and Digital Services. Execution will be in line in corporate and unit objectives

Work with the Manager, Product Marketing to suggest new concepts and create strategies for VAS and Digital Services, based on analytically derived conclusions about the market, customers and/or competitive positioning

Prepare monthly, quarterly and six-monthly marketing plans including rolling 13 week execution plan. Manage the productivity of the marketing plans to ensure maximum return on investment

Demonstrate a high aptitude for developing relationships with partners, service providers and managing marketing activities within a cross functional environment. Excellent customer insight and relationship skills, combined with high energy will be key to success

Drive awareness and positive perception of Digital Media and its Services within the overall business.

Implement the overall Digital Media communications strategy, brand re-positioning, launch of new products and overseeing the implementation of all communication and brand materials

Plan and oversee the advertising and promotion activities (above the line as well as below the line) including media, print, electronic, and sms. Drive this based on fact and data driven activities

Work with selected partners and drive specific co-marketing activity. Accountable for driving marketing plans and ensure all marketing activities are executed within the prescribed timelines

In consultation with the Manager, Product Marketing, develop and implement a front line strategy and drive in store branding / marketing activities

Work with other members of the digital media team such as Product Managers and the Content & Partnership team to understand the product features and content and use this to share the customer proposition

Job Summary

Support the Decision Support Manager to ensure agreed targets and financial benefits are optimised, costs are managed within agreed envelopes and guidance is provided to the Technical Department on finance issues
Support the improvement of the Network Finance processes

Principal Functions

Liaise, support and assist the technical business area on all aspects of financial and operational matters

Provide support for monitoring and controlling the financial performance of the technical business area via monthly reporting and budgeting/forecasting processes to provide insight into business performance

Support the preparation of techno-economics and accounting analysis/reports as required by the business including:

Product Profitability analysis;

Principal Functions

Job Summary

Ensure all VAS platforms have adequate capacity to support deployed services and implement commercial requirements based on business needs

Principal Functions

Support the planning and optimization of Etisalat Value Added Services (VAS) platforms and ensure compatibility and integration with Etisalat existing infrastructure.

Develop business cases for fresh deployment/upgrade/expansion of solutions which are inputs to new and existing solutions to enhance capacity availability.

Assist in the design, implementation and evolution of VAS Messaging, Mobile data, WAP, GPRS, Multi-media products, etc.

Monitor the license utilization on all VAS platforms and ensure required actions are taken before license reaches the threshold.

Coordinate inter-functional relation to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.

Prepare RFP document for any new VAS platform planned to be deployed based on commercial requirements.

Enhance the forecast mechanism for proper capacity planning of all the VAS nodes.

Job Summary
Coordinate and assign BSS site construction activities from start up to commissioning/acceptance

Principal Functions

Carry out technical site survey of new and existing BSS sites in line with deployment processes

Conduct all step by step acceptance testing of BSS site activities

Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to by contractors/vendors on all BSS sites.

Ensure the implementation of environmental impact assessment in the project.

Job Summary

Oversee the functions of the BSS support team, manage all BSS/RAN-related network activities and liaise with respective technical units to resolve network challenges.

Principal Functions

Participate in major incident reviews, support incident managers in identifying real causes and accurate descriptions of incidents and impacts, recommend remedial actions and resolve all issues that are escalated

Perform second level and necessary back office support to Field, BSS and NOC teams

Coordinate BSS database management, including network parameter changes, BSC/RNC rehoming, cutovers, network upgrades, BTS/NodeB rehoming and packet switch configurations.

Coordinate the implementation of BSS/RAN-related work orders (WOs) and change requests (CRs)

Coordinate corrective RAN/BSS maintenance as required, and assist field operation teams to resolve BSS/RAN issues including clearing of QOS alarms, resolving BSS- related outage and network problems.

Implement crisis management and service continuity policies and procedures to ensure minimal disruptions to the business in the event of any disaster.

Proactively work with other stakeholders on network incidents requiring cross-departmental collaboration.

Job Summary

Responsible for monitoring and reporting network performance of all nodes in the areas of Radio, Transmission, Core, VAS, IP, Roaming, international POI and Service Assurance.

Principal Functions

Monitor and report the network Performance of all Nodes in EMTS network i.e. Radio, Core, VAS, IP, Roaming, International POI

Analyse and report service assurance test reports on a weekly basis

Coordinate all stakeholders to resolve issues from service assurance tests.

Review formulas for 2G, 3G, 4G on the network and update on the tools where necessary

Manage all IP performance monitoring and reporting including Google Cache and CACTI

Responsible for implementing dashboards and automating all reports on the Pentaho and other monitoring tools

Support Drive Test Engineers on the field based on their testing requirement

Prepare and ensure quality of service reports are properly documented for management use and decision making purposes

Monitor and apply standards created/maintained by external bodies, and integrate within internal quality management systems
