CIVIL ENGINEER (Ref: 436)

Responsibilities:

Work with project engineers of CONTRACTORS to review engineering plans for plant constructability, operability and maintainability.

Works closely with, oversees and monitors contractors construction activities associated with a METHANOL PLANT facility, from project engineering through commissioning and turnover.

Patricipate in meetings

Must possess knowledge and understanding of applicable codes and standards

Experience in general construction of major projects systems.

Assists in resolving or recommends resolutions to Construction Management for contractual disputes between Company and contractor.

Reviews and provides input on contractor payments and change order requests.

Provides input to weekly and monthly construction progress reports. Attends and participates in regular contractor construction meetings.

Collaborates with project engineers in monitoring construction activities for compliance with engineering drawings, specifications and industry standards.

Monitors contractors compliance with construction safety program.

Tracks construction schedule and progress and ensures overall project schedule compliance.

Ensures contractor compliance of quality assurance and quality control programs. Effectively implements non-conformance and deviation control systems.

Qualification and Experience:

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in CIVIL Engineering

Ten (10) years of related experience, preferably in the oil industry or similar process

Experience in project execution.

Experience in similar position desireable

Self-starter with proven leadership abilities, strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.

Good knowledge of spoken and written English language.

PROJECT MANAGER (Ref: 435)

Responsibilities:

Managing & interfacing with the EPC CONTARCTOR and internal departments, such as Engineering, Projects, Procurements, construction and commissioning;

Acting as focal point for all technical and commercial aspects of projects within the Project Managers control;

Project Planning, including resource identification, From FEED stage to Operations stage

Project cost control, including management and accountability for the project forecasting, ensuring that the projects are delivered within budget;

Managing scope variations to ensure that project budget is not exceeded

Strong project management skills.

Review of detailed Project Execution Plans addressing the key project objectives for Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost.

Identification of risk and opportunities and how risk should be mitigated and opportunities materialised;

Management, coaching and support of the project team to achieve the key objectives;

Delivering services and products in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract;

Ensuring  systems are in place to review and approve project documentation prior to submission to the EPC;

Managing the project teams to ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time;

Attending and chairing EPC meetings;

Assisting project directors with strategic planning, detailed planning and driving the delivery of EPCM type projects.

Qualification and Experience:

A degree in an engineering discipline is desirable or appropriate and relevant experience.

25 Years’ Experience in handling large green field projects.

Experience in Methanol & Petrochemical projects desirable

A demonstrable track record of experience in a similar position of Projects Management within the Process industries OR Oil and Gas Industry

Demonstrate at least 5 years' experience at a senior level delivering complex green field projects and technical modifications within the Oil & Gas or associated major accident hazard process industries.

Job holder must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate their ability to foster wider relationships within the client's and wider Oil & Gas industry.

Ability to logically assess a multiplicity of data, make key decisions and effectively communicate actions to members of the team and other parties including senior representative of Emergency Services.

The job holder needs to keep up to date of all relevant engineering and technological development, benchmarked best practice, industry norms and trends.

PIPING DESIGN ENGINEER (Ref: 434)

Responsibilities:

Carrying out various piping specification activities and review of deliverables as identified in the Functional Competencies as necessary on their appointed project

Signing of drawing/documents as originator/checker in accordance with correct procedures

Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of piping specifications, datasheets, reports etc.

Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, and client and project standards

Adhering to engineering procedures for design safety and adopting safe attitudes towards engineering design and raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities

Correct interpretation of material management system for instituting component and material coding to suit material logistics requirements.

Qualification and Experience:

Mechanical Engineering or Piping background experience in areas: Chemical, Process, Petrochemal, Oil and Gas,

Good knowledge of: Piping / Mechanical / Structural / Process design in AutoCAD / Auto PLANT

At least 10 years industry experience in a similar field of work.

Good time management skill s and ability to work to targets.

Project experience of working in a variety of critical projects including grassroots, brownfield and revamp types

FEED & Detail engineering  experience is desirable

INTERFACE ENGINEER (Ref: 433)

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the project interface management procedure is implemented throughout project life cycle.

Utilizing the interface management module to engage with the engineering contractors, fabrication yard and key stakeholders.

Identify potential interface issues that may result in variation orders

Interface management systems and processes reflecting best industry practice

Supporting & Monitor all engineering contractors in successful coordination of interface requests, coordinating with contractors responsibilities are clear and understood during the lifecycle of the Execute phase of the project.

Monitoring and supporting reports on progress of interface request queries by means of regular meetings.

Supporting the implementation and maintenance of the project interface management procedure.

Following up and supporting Master Interface Register and Schedule contained within PMCS interface management, with focus on maintain the accuracy of the Master Interface Register.

evelopment of project performance management interface reports, and support generation of monthly status report on interface management.

Supporting engineering groups in identification of technical interface issues identified in the contractor engineering meeting.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor degree in engineering / BSc Degree or equivalent

Responsibilities:

The HSE Manager will lead the Core HSE section and be in charge of the following tasks:

Responsible for the reviews of safety plans and procedures

Attends Management Review Meetings to discuss Safety.

Reviews and distributes safety reports

Makes safety presentation to management

Participates in review of FEED documents as required.

ENGINEERING MANAGER (Ref: 431)

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of Engineers that are responsible for overseeing the technical aspect of projects and for coordinating the project engineering team at the FEED to execution phase.

Will report to project manager

Provide direction and leadership to the Project Lead Engineers.

Identify resource needs and deploy (internal & external) to ensure appropriate support.

Maintain an overview over the entire technical delivery ensuring that all scope is appropriately covered and that all parties clearly understand their requirements and their interfaces with others.

Ensure a formal and disciplined technical communication protocols by establishing and maintaining an RFI, Technical Concession and Change process with a live tracking register

Advise the Project Director ahead of issues becoming critical and provide recommendations to improve these issues

Provide appropriate guidance as necessary with regard to local legislation, codes and standard and technical requirements.

He shall have the personality and drive to manage, direct and guide the team to achieve the Project objectives. In addition, he must be assertive and firm in dealing with FEED Engineer, EPC contractors and other service provides while exercising absolute control on the work.

Bachelor of Engineering Degree.

20+ Years related experience in Process plant design and analysis.

Experience in Methanol or Ammonia plants Preferred

CONTRACTS & PROCUREMENT MANAGER (Ref: 430)

Responsibilities:

Project Contract Management. (Obligation management, support preparation of documentation required, identification of claims, support or execute preparation of claims documents, develop claim negotiation strategies, participation in claims negotiations).

Support of the Project Managers in Project Contract Management, contractual and claims/change related issues (being first project contact for legal issues; liaising with regional Contracts & Legal colleagues).

Preparation of reports and presentations about Claims Management.

Support bids in order to improve commercial conditions.

Identification of contractual obligations, potential variations and possible claim situations (primarily with prime contracts, related teaming agreements and Subcontracts).

Assist to the Project Management to define, implement, maintain and support effective change management and contract management policies, procedures and activities that grow the project scope, revenues and margins.

Procurement

The primary role of the Supply Chain Manager is to manage and align the Supply Management function The Supply Chain Manager will act as discipline expert in all systems, processes and procedures and will offer clear guidance and training to all Supply Management personnel on the project.

The Supply Chain Manager will have specialist knowledge of Supply Management processes and principles.

Plan, develop and maintain effective methods within the discipline in close co-operation with the projects delivery with the Project and Project Execution Models

Ensure that all known equipment and bulk materials are specified and delivered according to plan, agreed quality and cost, co-ordination of supplier follow up activities, vendor co-ordination at Site, Material Administration and MA file.

Responsible for the procurement strategy and that all activities are conducted in accordance with COMPANY's ethics standards

Define, budget, schedule, execute and co-ordinate all activities within areas of responsibility

Ensure that all deliverables are completed on time, in accordance with the project schedules

Make contract, specifications, project requirements, challenges and success criteria known

Define the need for and request IS/IT systems and support

CONSTRUCTIONS COORDINATOR (Ref: 429)

Responsibilities:

Ensure all personnel have a safe working environment and follow the agreed upon safety standards and procedures

Ensure all contractors are managing project work efficiently and with acceptable quality

Promote proactive recognition of good ideas, performance, and attitude

Attend or conduct daily safety tool box meetings

Participate in daily start of shift and work planning meetings

Report all safety incidents/near misses to the project Safety Lead and EPC contractor management

Conduct daily safety field observations and interventions

Review Construction Execution Plans

Receive and review construction estimates/schedules, as required

Attend daily look ahead construction meetings

Attend weekly 3 week look ahead meetings

Review EPC contractor project schedule work plans

Ensure that EPC contractors work planning is complete, mentor and coach as required

Perform weekly project field walks with the Construction Manager

Interface with operations (clearing of lines and equipment) so EPC contractors are not delayed

Issue work permits for offsite non process areas, as required

Interface with testing of soils for disposal, as required

Interface with delivery and pickup of trash, concrete, soil, and metal dumpsters, as required

Schedule and coordinate road closures with plant superintendent and security, as required

Inspect and sign off hot tap equipment prior to drilling, as required

COMMISSIONING & OPERATIONS MANAGER (Ref: 428)

Responsibilities:

Executes project commissioning activities including FEED, detailed engineering, training pre commissioning commissioning, start up and performannce testing

Implementation of management execution plan for pre-commissioning , commissioning start up and performanace testing of methanol plant. Assist of development of start up sequence and the schedule to be utilized as a basis for project execution planning

Executes and monitors verificationand testing process requirements for the stsyetem completions

Supports engineering developments of operational risk

Well verse with project systemization

Well verse will start up of methanol or ammonia plant

Develop start up procedure for safe runnig of methanol plant
