Presentation
The Tornado Nano arrived in a bright yellow box, with a glossed Tornado on the front, with "INNOVATIVE CHIP COIL & RTA SYSTEM" written underneath.
On the revrse of the box it displays the kit content and a brief spec of the kit.
The cover simply slides off , to reveal the inner plast case, that hold the kit securely in the foam cut out.
The full kit can be easlier removed from the case.

This very complate kit, comes fully assembled and ready to use. But for the purpose of this review, we will begin by stripping it down into its component parts, before building it back up, and try out both the Chip coil set, aswell as sticking a build in of my own, and then letting you knwo my thoughts on how it vapes, now that i have be testing it out daily for a few weeks.
Base Section & Airflow Control.
The Tornado features a "Direct to contact" 24K Gold Plated 510, which runs through the stainless steel base section, The gold plated pin is fully removable, and seems to be held in place by an insulating rubber gromit.
It is removed, by simply pressing against the back of it, and it pops out.
and press fitted back in place.
The removable Airflow ring, mase out of matching stainless steel, simple press fits around the base, held in place by an o-ring.
Once in place, it slides smoothly open and closed, stopping either end on the stopped.
The Base section has a fat L shaped o-ring that sits inside the inner lip, which allows the tank section to seal down onto it. The inner threaded design allows you to interchange the between Coil heads and the cleverly design RTA section, which simply screws down into the base.
CHIP Coil Head & RTA Section
The Tornado Nano comes with a replaceable pre-installed dual CHIP Coil. I hadnt come across the CHIP coil system before, apparently the chip coil, is mainly used for electrical conductivity and heat dissipation, so seems a natural solution to coil matufacture.
The Coil seems to be soldered directly onto the plat the the 510 pin makes contact with, when installed
The CHIP Coil housing is 18.3mm across, allowing for plenty of space for the dual Twisted kanthal 0.3 ohm build and plenty of cotton, (which i would imagine will be quite easy to re-wick, although i haven tried yet.)
On either side of the Coil you have two 3.5ml juice holes, to allow the juice to flow in. and although the Tornado features no juice control, i have had zero issue with flooding, or dry hits.
The coils, as far as i can tell can not be removed from the CHIP, so if you want to try out some of your own coils, and builds then you will have to switch out to the RTA section which comes included in the kit.
Featuring a Velocity style deck, measuring 18.6 mm across, inc housing.
The positive post is held in place with a large gold plated nut, which doubles as the contact, when installed.
The outer housing simply unscrews, to allow you to gain full access to the bulod deck.
The build decks features a two post design 7.1mm apart with 2mm post holes, unlike most velocity style decks, the Tornados post have apposing screws, the top holes screw down from the top, and the bottom ones from the side,
On either side of the deck you have two massive airholes, measuring 6.6mm wide by 3.5 wide, which run directly through the the viod under the deck, which leads out to the air-slots.
There is also plent of space for wicking, with the 5.5mm wick ports machined out of each corner. with the bottom 3mm left once the outer casing is screwed back on.
The Chimney Section.
The CHIP coil and RTA section screw directly into the base of the chimeny section.
Screwing and Connecting the two parts together, secures the top and base section together and holds the tank in place, so you do need to ensure that theye are screwed together tightly to prevent an leaking.
The top section of the chimney opens out into the fill port, where you have two large kidney shaped holes which allow you to drip and dump juice strip out of the bottle.
The top cap / drip tip then screws down onto the top of the fill section.
The top cap if very thin, and the drip tip is machined and press fitted directly into the top of it, so cant be removed, but you can fit standard drip tips, directlly into the top cap.
The kit includes a longer mouth to lung drip tip, which dramatically reduces the air flow of the draw.
Once the top cap is installed, it gives it a nice low profile look and feel, although, I must say that the thin profile of the top cap, does make it quite tricky to unscrew sometimes and I did have occasion were I had to get a pair of pliers to help getting it off, it would of been nice if they had put some knarling just around the edge of the top cap to assist.
Aesthetics & Build Quality
I think the Tornado is one of the best looking tanks around, with its clean lines, and uncluttered design. I have found no issues with the build quality, all the threading is smooth, with very little grid. It has stood up really well to being used every day, as my go to tank.
When put together correctly, the seals and orings work perfectly, and I have had zero issue with any leakage.
The addition of the Darkened Heat Reactive glass and the availability of the frosted glass, allows you to completely change of the overal look and feel of the tank, when paired up with the available chuff cap.to complete the transformation.
Real World Performance
This tank has been a pleasure to use, when it first arrived, I tested out the included CHIP Coil, which was very impressive, producing a great level of flavour, and Hughes clouds, and would be perfect for newer vapors, looking to experience higher quality custom coils, and defiantly feels and vapes like an upgrade to your standard stock sub ohm tank coils.
After not being able to fault the included CHIP Coil, I could wait to get my hands on the RTA build deck, and stick a build in it.
The Velocity style deck was ultra easy to build on, and even easier to wick, allowing you to easily place the wicks, down into the wick holes after, screwing on the chamber.
I have had no issues with wicking or flooding, as long as you ensure that you keep the cotton well fluffed, and ensure the wicking holes are completed cover.
The only faults I could really find with the Tornado would be the fact that the tank section is held in place when the deck section is screwed in, so you can't really remove the coil or deck, once it is filled with juice, even when held upside down, once the deck is unscrewed, it seems to break the seal at the other end, and it does get a bit messy. And the second issue relates to the top cap, and the fact that you need to be careful not to loosen the top section, when unscrewing it, as again once loosened the seal is lost and Ejuice will leak out round the seal. This could be easily fixed by the addition of some knarling around the top cap lip.
Conclusion.
Apart from the slight issues I have mentioned, this is a faultless kit, great flavour, great vapor production, and one of the most complete kits I have come across, and would defiantly recommend it,
