I have had a Davis Vantage pro for several years, and its doing a good job, However at the first get go the small birds would use the water gage(bowl) as a roost, so naturally they also used the bowl as a toilet!
kept it plugged up, so I went to the Bass Pro store and bought a big fake Hoot owl, I mounted it to the station pole. that worked very well, the little birds didn't want anything to do with the owl!!
